Congratulations to Club Member, Julia Wood (pictured below), whose short story ‘Jenny Bean, Calamity Queen’ reached the shortlist of the Comedy Women in Print Short Story Prize, alongside other popular comedians such as Josie Long who have turned their comedy into print. The reward was a trip to the Groucho Club in London for a star-studded evening, bumping shoulders with the likes of Helen Lederer, Jo Brand, Sharon Horgan, Kathy Lette and Meera Syal.
