For our next speaker evening of 2025, Laura Pearson will be visiting the club on Thursday 10th April (7pm-9pm). As usual, the event will be ‘in person’ at Phoenix Cinema and Art Centre, Midland St, Leicester LE1 1TG, but also available on Zoom to those who register on-line. The event is free to club members and £5.00 to visitors/non-members. All are welcome.
Laura Pearson is the author of seven novels, including the Kindle number one bestseller The Last List of Mabel Beaumont, and her most recent release The Many Futures of Maddy Hart. She lives in Leicestershire with her husband, children and cat.
She will be interviewed by Helen Cooper about her journey to publication, the ups and downs of her writing career, and how she writes, edits and promotes her books.
