Manish Chauhan in Conversation – Club Event

For our next club event, we welcome Manish Chauhan back to Leicester Writers’ Club on Thursday 30th April 2026, from 7-9pm at Phoenix Cinema and Art Centre, Midland St, Leicester LE1 1TG. Manish is a former member of Leicester Writers’ Club and now returns with his debut novel, Belgrave Road, recently published by Faber & Faber.

As an author with deep roots in Leicester, Manish Chauhan will be discussing his journey into publication, his work and writing process in conversation with Siobhan Logan.

The event is free to club members and £5.00 to visitors/non-members. All are welcome (registration details below). The event is also available online on Zoom.

Manish Chauhan’s short story ‘Pieces’ was shortlisted for the BBC National Short Story Award. His work has also been shortlisted for the Galley Beggar Short Story Prize and the Exeter Short Story Competition. Early excerpts of Belgrave Road were long-listed for the Curtis Brown First Novel Award and shortlisted for the Daniel Goldsmith First Novel Prize.

Siobhan Logan is an editor, poet and storyteller whose work has been performed at Ledbury Poetry Festival, the British Science Museum and the National Space Centre. Widely published in magazines and anthologies, she’s published two books of poetry and non-fiction with Original Plus Press and two with Space Cat Press.
