Farhana Shaikh is a multi-talented author, publisher and literary activist from Leicester. She is the founder of Dahlia Publishing and The Asian Writer magazine, as well as the director of events such as Leicester Writes Festival and Novel Exchanges. She will talk to Leicester Writers’ Club’s Siobhan Logan about her experiences and thoughts on:

• Diversity in publishing
• The role of the editor
• Supporting local literature
• The value of indie publishers
