Leicester Writers Club's Everybody's Reading event

Come to Leicester Writers’ Club and discover how readers are conversing with writers, particularly through social media and book events/clubs. More than ever, readers can converse with writers of their favourite books through social media. Writers are able to engage with readers and make it easier for readers to discover new books. Leicester Writers’ Club members will discuss how they engage with readers and grow their readership. There will be a question and answer session afterwards.

Leicester Writers’ Club offers a supportive environment for professional and semi-professional writers to get constructive criticism on work in progress and marketing and professional development. The Club also hosts talks by industry speakers, such as literary agents, social events and a writers’ retreat. Members include novelists, poets, scriptwriters, non-fiction writers and short story writers.

Everybody’s Reading is a nine day festival from 30 September – 8 October with events, such as author talks, workshops, readings and a Local Writers’ Book Fair, taking place in venues across Leicester.
